Gettin in the mood!!

All this fall talk got me in the mood
to scrap some of last years favorite
pictures. We had some fun parties,
trick or treating, and pumpkin patch
visits. I'm feeling it... tomorrow
must be the day to decorate for fall!!

Feeling Rejected

I'm feeling just a tad unwanted this morning.

So I come out from my room to this conversation;

"Riley remember when you and mom
were gone to Seattle and I got to be
by myself
that was so cool without MOM"

*SPLAT*
my heart went on the tile floor.

What??? Cool without mom???
are my kids already trying to cut the
apron strings so soon???

It's almost here!!

When they sing "rise and shout the cougars are out"
my hubby really takes them serious!!
I can feel it getting near. Saturday, Sept. 1
is the first BYU football game of the season.

Kyle gets a bit excited to say the least, and by excited
I mean loco!!
He wakes us up the in the morning yelling "IT'S GAME DAY",
Then he gets out his mini BYU helmet, rubs it a few times,
takes out his BYU pom poms, does a little ra cha cha,
everyone in the house is only allowed to
wear blue and white on GAME DAY or we are shunned, and heaven
help us if we wear the forbidden RED, which I look great in.
His BYU pennant will be hanging for all to see!
The neighbors will wonder if I am getting beaten to a bloody pulp from
all the aggressive yelling that he will do.
BUT I must say the best part about BYU football season
is seeing Kyle get so excited about it and definitely the partying we do when they win!!
He's a big lovable BYU COUG!!
GO COUGS!!

Yankee DOODLE Day!!

Yankee doodle came and went all too fast!!
Trish and Paul Hosted a fabulous event
of BBQ and water fun.

Had to take a "twinner" picture!
It wasn't planned but we're thinking in the
future we may have to plan more twin days
at the park or mall or other holiday gatherings.
Jenn forgot to wear her red tank!! Next time
she better read the memo!

The kids had the best time running through the sprinklers
anything to keep cool and entertain the little hoodlums!

Paul watches far too much TV and comes up with his own
home-made fireworks consisting of liquid GOLD,
otherwise known as DC and mentos!

Good TIMES, GOOD friends, GOoD FuN!!

Extravaganza!!!**

Two Crazy Mother's!!

Yep, we are officially the
best mom's in Tucson
and maybe even the world!!
It was preschool sign-up day and usually
there are all kinds of crazy's out
to sign their kids up for preschool but NO
not this year! There was only 2!!
It was 1:30 AM and
all we could think of is how we
needed to be first in line to get our
BOYS into the best bargain
preschool in town!!

Trish and I chitted the chat for all hours
of the night!! It was quite the party!!

Trish was way too perky!!

Lisa, Trish, Errica, Jenny & me snoozin!
Reinforcements arrived around 4:30 am
and so we headed for the nearest gas station for a
much needed potty break!!

We were a bit on the delirious side by the time
the doors opened at 8:00 am! It was
amazing to witness the gorgeous Tucson Sunrise!!
Not to mention the jailbirds in the orange
jumpsuits staring at us while they worked on the
lawn!! I think they were wondering who these
two hot mama's were!!

It's going to take a few days to recover from this
ordeal! I'm not a spring chicken anymore!!

A Summer of Trips!!

Well, its ROADTRIP time! Time to get our bags packed, gameboys charged,
snacks bought, coolers filled with DC, new music purchased,
minivan cleaned and vacuumed up for the new crumbs to fall,
and we are ready to "Head for the hills" of UTAH!! We are so excited
to visit all of our friends and family there!
Grandma O. flew into today
and is going to help me and the kids
on the long and torturous drive. She ROCKS!!
I hope we don't freeze now that we are Arizona spoiled!!
