boring little weekend we had!!

It started with Riley being in a Spelling Bee at school on Friday. She made it in by being in the top two spellers in her 5th grade class. She did really good and made it about 1/2 way through. I was so proud of her being so BRAVE!! She was scared to death and tried everything to get out of going to school that day. She did awesome!
Friday NIGHT was SLEEPOVER SWAP night! We have been so SPOILED since we have lived here. We live down the street from the Bishop and they have tons of kids for my kids to play with plus the best babysitters around. We are going to totally miss them!!! Anywho, we swapped kids and let the kids have sleepovers. I lucked out because I got the GIRLS!!
Hayden and Sam can be little HOOLAGINS!! They get kinda wild and a little out of control at times but then you just put a pile of food in front of them and a video game controller in their hand and they are good to go.
That night I started getting really sick. OH MY I felt like my stomach turned upside down!! Then Riley got hit with it on Saturday. Reece is getting over it and I'm not sure if Hayden already had it or if he's next. It really was the craps (literally).
It really ticked me off we had to miss some fun plans to hit the ZOO on Saturday with some friends.
So we just hung out. We did have about 3 lookers at our house so kept having to leave and drive around for a bit.
Well that's it for now. We did however survive our first week with Kyle gone. It was kinda lonely but not too bad. This week we have lots to look forward to. G & G Beus coming for a fun visit and we may even hit Sea World!! Then Friday night Kyle will be home for a weekend visit. HURRAY!!I wonder if there is a new Desperate Housewives on tonight. One can only hope!

What a poopy weekend! ;) Sounds like it was good, other than the flu. How nice of you to let the kids have sleepovers to be with their buddies as much as possible. Have fun with your parents and a pos trip to cali!
oh what a weekend. one thing about tucson i swear we had the flu every other day there and not to jinx my self but only once here since. im glad you had some lookers only wish i lived areound the corner so you could have come and chilled at my house, it is such a long poopy process. im feeling like its going to sell fast!!
Even though everyone felt like pooh...it looks like you still managed to make it a FUn filled weekend. I hope you all get feeling better before grandma and grandpa get here!
It looks like a much more fun weekend then we had over here at the T-horney's. I agree with Jamie, I think your house will sell fast. I think I am still in denial that this is all hapening though....

First of all... Way to go to Riley for her spelling bee success! What a CUTIE! I remember being in Spelling Bee's in elementary school. Anyone know when there WILL be a new Desp. Housewives? It's making me nuts!!
Sorry about your bum weekend. Congrats to Riley. I am so impressed that she was up in front of all those people. I don't know if Alexa would have done it. Riley, you are getting so big, I can hardley stand it. I wish you little girls were still 1 and 2 and we were playing Hand and Foot in the little apartment in the kitchen. Good Times!
Hope this weekend is a better one! So sorry to hear you were sick and husband-less. Poop!
