One of the promises we made to our kids to get them
excited about moving to Utah was
"you can have a dog in Utah"
We had the hardest time getting everyone to
agree on a name:
I wanted to name him "t-REX" because he chomps at you like a dinosaur,
Riley wanted to name him "Chewy" because he likes to chew,
Hayden wanted to name him "Boozer" like the Utah JAzz Bball player
Reece wanted to name him all sorts of weird stuff like "daddy" but he really wants to name him "Lady" but he's a HE so we keep telling him we can't,
Kyle wanted to name him Boozer too or Olie
We all liked Olie and when Grandma was
puppy-sitting he was yapping and she turned on the radio and
there was a JAZZ player named OLIE playing the trumpet. Puppy
loved it and quieted down immediately - so there you have it.
It was meant to be......
(oh and Kyle had to throw in the "Oscarson" just for kicks and giggles)
this time. We did it! We broke down and got them a puppy.
They are in HeAvEn!!
