Memory Game

Good I needed a post for the day and my friend Casey put this game on her blog and now I will follow. I enjoyed posting a comment on hers so hopefully you all will do the same for me.

Here is what you do:

1. Add a comment to this post on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot…anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses.

If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

a good memorie... oh where to start, how about a few, going to the movies on one of our first dates and you trying to be nice and share a drink but making sure i got my own straw, or hitting some yard sales and you chasing down the mexican in his car yelling "hey you hit them you hit them" i allways love hitting the gem show with you and the one time you were getting me to move along real fast will always top the memories. but my all time fav, is just the everyday ones in you backyard or mine having a dc the kids playing and sharing all the goods for the day. oh life is good with jean.

One of my favorite memories with you was that day when we sat on your tramp and talked for like 4 hours and all of the sudden I looked at the time and it was like 3 hours Past Dallas's bedtime, and I scurried out of there to get him to bed. Another one was the Twilight party, probably the best party EVER, and Thanksgiving dinner at your house(best meal I have ever had hands down!) I miss you. Such a bum deal that you up and left to Utah:( Oh and another funny one. When we were watching that reality show about the drug addicted celebrities and you paused it like 3000 times because your kids kept coming in the room:)

I have LOTS of Jeannie memories - but one that sticks out and makes me giggle is: You and I staying up really late each night, for about a week, making jewelry for your business, and Dan in the next room kept telling us to "Shut up!" because you and I kept talking and laughing! Good times!

Queso, fish tacos, gem shows. Waiting in line ALL NIGHT long for preschool, and being so silly bc we were exhausted. Always seeing you with your D.C in hand! Yard saling at the break of dawn and finding some serious good. Game nights, date nights, your fabulous jewelry! Oh so many memories, you and the heaps need to come on back for good!

Ok! So I was trying to come up with one FABULOUS memory to share but there are just too many to choose from. First of all, I remember meeting you in our ward in WA and going to play group and thinking that you were the only logical mother there. I remember stopping by your apartment to use your phone (this was pre cell phone life) and you and Riley had been sick and you were embarrassed to let me in to use your phone but you did anyway. I remember when we moved and I can still see your whole family on our front porch and It still makes me a little choked up over it. I remember when you came to Tucson and I got to go house hunting with you (but not for a house in our ward.) I remember when we left Tucson and we drove away from your house - and that still makes me sad. I remember when you came to see me in AR - the only friend that did. I remember coming to visit you. I remember Riley and Alexa playing like little animals. I remember when you had Hayden and I got to bring Riley to the hospital to meet her new brother. I remember coming once a week to babysit Riley in WA. I remember playing hand and foot night after night (i loved those days of no responsibility) and also playing nertz while Tim watched sports beat. I remember going garage saling, I remember going to Disneyland, I remember awesome Thanksgivings, jewelry parties, birthday parties, Claim Jumper, Henry Weinharts (sp?), your little apartment in WA, crazy landlords that came with it, all your obsessions - scrapbooking, jewelry, t-shirt rugs, painting, poppy cock, DC, and now blogging. I remember all your clever ideas for decorating, refinishing, and reupholstering. I remember that you are a dear friend and I am lucky to have you. Thanks for the best memories. (Was that cheezy enough? You remember alot when you are looking for the perfect memory.)

I remember all these fun things about you too. Date nights with cards and pizza- story time with Mr. Eddie- movie dates with kids-Easter egg hunts- "shin digs"...etc. I remember when we bought our house, you came and spent the day with me taping rooms in my house to be painted (that's the yukky part!). I remember you being such a good friend no matter what. You are still that same friend even though your far away. You have touched many peoples lives! Wow!
