This week has been a somber one. One filled with many emotions.
Some of them happy and some very sad.
Our friend Rafe passed away a couple days ago after battling cancer.
He was such a good man, son, father, and husband.
We are thankful we were able to know him for even a short time.
We are thankful that he is now free from the cancer and the pain that it caused him.
We are sad because we will miss him.
His family is very dear to us.
Hayden will especially miss him for they had some wild football games on his front lawn.
A tribute to Rafe here.
How blessed we are to know that our families are forever,
that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us and answers our prayers.
It's sometimes not in the way we expect for them to be answered but they are answered.
I have been trying lately to count every day we have here on this earth with our families a blessing.
Not to get so mad at my kids when they are driving me bonkers.
Not to let a day go by without telling my hubby I love him.
So if you haven't done it yet today - go hug your honey!
