I just finished reading 'the Hunger Games' this morning and loved it. It's one of those books you don't want to put down because of the suspense that builds up throughout the story. Although, I took it with me on my trip and had to put it down a billion times but couldn't wait to pick it back up again.
If you like reality TV then you will like this storyline. The plot is about 24 kids fighting to their deaths until there is only one remaining. The fights are televised to all of the citizens of Panem can watch their every move. The Hunger Games knows no bounds there are many twists and turns along the way. It reminded me of what the show "Survivor" would be like with no rules/teenagers/weapons and no Jeff Probst.
I'm excited to now to read the next one 'Catching Fire' as soon as I can get my hands on it.

oooohhh, Hunger Games! Our bookgroup is doing it this year. I read through it really quickly as well, along with Tyler. He just finished Catching Fire and said it really left him hanging. Did you hear the movie is coming out this fall!! Cool!
It was a great book! I really enjoyed it too. Catching Fire was just as gripping for me. Kind of has a bit of the Edward v. Jacob (Twilight) type rivalry going on. Intense. Are you on GoodReads?

Okay I was SO going to post about how much I love this book!! They are really good, I flt kinda weird loving it so much since basically kids are murdering eachother the whole time...but oh well, its fake and so I can love it!

I guess this is the place everyone brags about reading this book. Since I'm not what you'd call a Bookworm I better go on record as having read Hunger Games AND Catching Fire....Boo-Yah!! I'm Awesome I know! And all the Twilight books...Double Boo-Yah!!
