a tribute

G & G on their wedding day.
My handsome Grandpa passed away a couple days before Thanksgiving. He gets to be with his sweetheart now. I miss him already but I do love to think about them together and what their reunion must have been like.
He really was one handsome man but most of all he was a wonderful example of how one should live their life.

this is my favorite picture
He served in WWII.

Glen with his sweetheart Lula.
Just a few of the many things I will miss about him: his mean game of rummy, his stories about Alaska and WII & moving to the basin, his hugs, his huge garden, his muscles (the man had guns even in his 90's), showing us his cut off finger, his teasing grandma, his laugh, his smile, his potions (makes a mean glass of silver), hearing his testimony. We was a very good man and I'm so proud to be his grand daughter.

What a handsome fellow, you are lucky to have such great family. It really was such a tribute that you hopped in your car on Thanksgiving to be there.
