CJane had asked those who care for NieNie to give their prayers, fasts, money and on Saturday Balloon Releasing. Regular readers of NieNie know that her family release helium balloons with messages in them regularly for birthdays and anninversaries. So we decided to join in the fun on Saturday at 6pm the Olsen gang and some neighborhood recruits sent off a few balloon's with some well wishes for the Nielsons.
There were big gatherings at parks and at temples. It was fun thinking that bloggers all over the world were also letting off balloons at the same time for such a great cause.
Design Mom has declared this Thursday to be Nie Nie Day and there is going to be hundreds of silent auctions with the proceeds going to the Nielson family. Be sure to check them out and maybe you'll find some treasure and being doing a service at the same time. I will be auctioning off some jewelry on my jewelry blog, (which I have been neglecting during this move, but soon to be resurrected) @ myneckcandy.blogspot.com
