I have been a BAD BAD blogger the past few days.
I'm several posts behind with NO time insight for posting but I will do my best.
I stole these pics off of Jamie's blog because my camera battery was dead
this night which was just one of the disappoints which led up to
this....
We went to see Twilight the other night.
I thought it was great when I first left the theater
but the more I thought about it...I thought it was a BUST!
and I think this is WHY!
I had a stressful week
of kids needing me constantly,
trying to plan a lesson for YW (which shouldn't be stressful
but it is for me)
a big flood in my basement,
getting ready for company with a big flood in my
basement.
Then after buying a WHOLE stink'n row of seats for the movie
and trying to fill them, feeling
bad after telling the men that were DRAGGED to go
how GREAT it was going to be
put a bit of pressure on me.

...and so I left a bit disappointed about how the movie turned out.Disappointed because I had been waiting so long and had been so excited to see it, I think my expectations were TOO HIGH!
Kyle was a champ like always! He was excited to see it too...for he read the books
which he hates to admit, but he loves to read and will read just about anything
so he gave them a whirl and liked them.
BUT never fear.....it is an awesome movie.
I put it to the test once again and saw it for a second time last night
with my parents and Riley.
It was awesome! I didn't want it to end.
I loved the characters, music, low budget-ness,
scenery, flying, pasty faces...everything I didn't love the first time.
I have read a bit about it and it is getting some poor reviews.
It seems people either love it or hate it.
I must say if you were like me and didn't like it the first time try, try again!
It's funky-ness grows on you!
I can't wait for the next one now!

jean, i loved it. ikay so i didnt read the books and didnt have any expectations,but i thought it was good. and how could it not be that edward is one faxy vamp. he deffinatly got my blood pumping. and all in all it lead to some good loving at home after wich made matt appricate the movie all the more.

I saw it last night, and had mixed feelings too, I was disapointed in some of the casting, but...I was thrilled with EDWARD.. and after all he is the most important thing for them to get right, and they did. I thought it was so funny how like half of the actors used to be on the O.C. (i loved that show). Ryan, much like Matt, was happy I went and saw it, and might be going to see it again...wink, wink:)
I have to admitt that I was on the fence after I watched it. But the more that I am away from it, the more scenes that I remember liking or LOVING aka the kissing scene. Good gosh! I am going to see it again tomorrow with my mom. I think I will like it better the second time around. Ryan better be ready! ;)
I really enjoyed the movie. Parts of it were just as I imagined as I read the book. I went with some girl friends and we had a good time. I want to see it again, too. I have to get a babysitter so I can take Bryson to it. He read the books, too, and enjoyed them. :)
Okay, I really did like it. Like everyone else I was disappointed in some parts, and the books were definitely better...but what do you expect?? All in all, I liked it!
