This is my old buddy-roommate Shelly. We roomed for a couple years
until she ditched me for her hubby Bret.
We were the
Thelma and Louise of Raintree apartments back in the day.
We used the alias of Helga (shelly) & Greta (me) when we met some
dudes when we first moved in. We didn't want to give them our real names
when they asked so we gave them those fake names......we were known
for the next year as the "the German babes" from those two. I know we look
really German too, so it fit us well!
We were with each other when we first met our now husbands.
We had many a night of dancing, staying up all night,
snuggling and talking about our dates when we got home.
We now only live minutes apart and we finally got together
for lunch and it was like we just pick up where we left off.
Isn't it the best to have long lasting friends like that?

Helga and Gretta, that is such a funny story! Im going to start calling you that. There is nothing like buddies with so much history. Better watch out everyone, Helga and Greta are back at it:)
