Weekend in review:
After getting the kids to snuggle on the couch with a good movie,
and thanks to Riley the awesome-ist babysitter,
Kyle and I got to sneak out....

for some late night card playing!!
We figured it had been like 2 years since we had been able to
play some Hand and Foot with the Heapters. Between them moving, Jamie popping out babies, us moving and getting settled it's been a little late in coming but we finally managed to break out the cards! It's a little more tricky not living 2 seconds away from each other but we've decided we've got to just make it happen!
After Matt trying to catch us cheating, double counting our points,
he can't figure out why us YA-YA's always kick their behinds! Even after all their efforts
they went down in flames!!

goes the famous
ya ya dance!
Sunday night we were struggling for some entertainment
so
the kids started begging for
dad to play
the
BLANKET GAME!
It consists of Dad putting a blanket on his head
and the kids hiding and sneaking around him
and he tries to find them and GET 'EM!
Simple I know, but will entertain for atleast an hour!
I guess they didn't want the weekend to end
for FHE tonight we got a fun drop-by, and you know how I love those,
from Heaps with some yummy Valentine's cookies!
Thanks guys, there is nothing better than a good drop-by,
treats, and football game in the living room!
and thus ends
our last few days of fun!
We are counting down the
days for when we can start
having some fun outside.
It's getting rough trying to come up with
inside entertainment but we'll survive!

a weekend indeed. it was so nice to play a little hand and foot, expecially when the ya ya dance gets to be broken out. tell kyle next time im over im all in for the blanket game i think i might be able to get by. hope the home teachers were quick and didnt mind the cookie crumbs around the house. have so much fun this week live it up in tucson for me too, and of course hit hotdog heavin once or twice. yummmm im jealouse.
What a fabulous weekend!!Im so glad you guys beat the boys, and I love the dance. I like the blanket game idea, Kyle is such a stud! Im excited to see you tomorrow! I might just kiss you:)... and Jamie, we will go to hotdog heaven in your honor:)
