Getting my groove on!

Life is slowly getting back to normal around here after a boring miserable, summer
of being prego. This week I'm seeing the light, starting to get
into the GrOoVe of things again. Although, it's still a challenge
to get out of the house before 11 am...I am starting to atleast
want to leave the house a little.

Our last week we had a couple visitors:
Cousin Brian and his cute family. Seriously, they have 5 kids
and I could hardly tell they were even here, what mellow kids....lucky!!

Grandpa brought my kiddos home from WA! What a trooper to
drive 12 hours both there and back with my kids. They had so much
fun with him on the farm too! Thanks Grandpa!

After tons of running around school shopping and getting the kids haircuts
I still can't believe that the new school year is upon us and Riley is a
big Jr. High girl now. YIKES! Yes, she decided that she is TOO cool
to take an insulated lunch box to school and would rather just brown bag it.

My kids all start school on different days this year.
Hayden started yesterday and is a big 4th grader now!
The funniest thing is he came home from school and said
"IT SUCKED and my teacher is growing a mustache"
(his teacher is an older woman)
Reece doesn't start until next week but we took him to "back to school" night
and he got to meet his AWESOME teacher!
She was dressed like a pirate
and had them go on a treasure hunt!

Today we took full advantage of the HOT weather that will soon
be gone (sob sob)!
We headed to a new splash park that I'm TOTALLY
psyched about! What can be better than
free entertainment, splashing in water,
and catching some rays!
(Reece & Gavin)
The only pr0blem was Reece's swimsuit didn't fit and his CRACK was showing the
entire time because mom didn't notice he had on Hayden's. HABaby Crew had good little nappy!

I'm glad that Juli and Lincoln were up for some fun today
it was good to get out and have some girl talk!

Jeannie,
Glad to hear things are going well for ya. Your baby is sooo cute! Can you believe our kids are getting so old? Tyler started middle school last year (6th grade is way too soon up here) and it was a huge transition! Now he's excited to be a big 7th grader. We have 2 more weeks before school starts, boo hoo, summer will be gone!

I can't believe Riley is in Jr. High!! She looks so cute! I love Hayden's comment about his teacher, and your Dad is a ROCKSTAR for doing that! When the heat leaves Utah it is just an excuse for you to come visit AZ!

Your kids are so cute. What a nice compliment on our family. Believe you me... they can get cRaZy! Um... Neither Brian nor I remember you mentioning the Church Office Building. We were not planning on going there at all until Jack wanted to see where the prophet worked. But we will leave your comment on the blog... because we love you. :o)
