Lucky ME!

Why am I so lucky you ask??
Cuz I've been married to this hunk of a man for 14 years and we still dig each other.
I knew he was a catch when way back when I could get him to try new things, like country dancing (back when it was all the rage), go to ceramics with me, drive by "man in the window" whenever possible to wave at him, he would take me to chick flicks, have snow picnics, drive up Provo Canyon to get fall leaves, kids LOVE him and seem to always want to tackle him/body slam him and he didn't seem to mind - so I thought - SWEET he loves kids, and he also didn't seem to mind hanging out and meeting my thousands of cousins and relatives, which was a bonus.
Here is just one more example of why I LOVE my Mr. Incredible so dang much:

About 12 years ago when I was starting my crafty phase Mr. Inc got into it too, in a very manly way of course. At that time we had decided that through the years to come we wanted to collect Santa's, our favorites were tall and skinny Santa's. That's another thing I love about him, he is a freak for HOLIDAYS, he always loves to go ALL OUT decorating, music the works. Anyways, back to my story, so he carefully created a pattern, cut the wood himself, hand carved and painted him, antiqued him and then sanded the edges. He put his heart and time into it. I loved that he cared so much. We called it then and still call it our "Heirloom Santa", because we are sure that someday he will be worth millions, and our kids will fight over him when we kick the bucket. OH that is a morbid thought! Well at least we will be together for all of time and eternity, maybe Heirloom Santa will have to come with us!!

Happy Anniversary Mr. Inc , I love you!!

Awww, it makes me so happy that you love my sweet brother the way you do, cuz he deserves it! He is the most TENDER brother in the whole wide world. You love him because of some of the reasons I love him - he knows a girls heart and enjoys doing things with the girls as much as the boys! Me and Mel trained him this way, you know! LOL!!! And I must say that he married one terrific girl - I couldn't ask for a better sis-in-law!! Happy Anniversary you two! We Love you both! BTW, can you believe we've both been married 14 years? CRAZY!!!

Kyle, if you weren't already taken (and me too) I might make a move on you!! I can say that since we go back almost 10 years. Happy belated anniversary. Since we share the same anniversary month, it is always great to hear about your special day. It comes about 2 weeks before ours & you are 2 years older than we are (on the anniversary front that is). Great that you had a great day, have a Henry Weinhards for US, act like we used to back in Lake Stevens. Come and visit us here in NC and we will drink a lot & play H&f. We can ignore the kids & play a ton like the good old days.

Tim we went out to Claim Jumper and thought of the good old days of eating potato cakes with the Van-Bust-A-Rhymes.
